Use Custom RTMP when your destination provides a server URL and stream key but is not one of the preset platforms. Teleprompter Automatic accepts RTMP and RTMPS destinations.
Get the destination details
Open the live, broadcast, or encoder settings in your streaming service. Look for labels such as Server URL, RTMP URL, Stream URL, Stream key, Stream name, or Stream token.
Paste the details in Teleprompter Automatic
- Open your script and choose Live Stream.
- Select Stream URL.
- Paste the server address into Stream URL. For example, use a format like
rtmps://live.teleprompter.pw/appwhen a service provides an RTMPS address. - Paste the stream key into Stream Key.
- Start the stream and confirm the preview on the destination service.
If you have one full RTMP link
Some services give one complete link that already includes the stream name or key at the end. Paste that full link into Stream URL and leave Stream Key empty. Teleprompter Automatic will split the connection URL and stream name when the link is valid.
Use RTMPS when available
RTMPS encrypts the connection to the streaming service. If your destination offers both RTMP and RTMPS, choose RTMPS unless the platform tells you otherwise.
