Set a pace you can speak comfortably
Read aloud while adjusting Speed. Lower it if the next line moves away before you finish, or increase it if you keep waiting for the text. The speed setting controls scrolling; it is not a spoken words-per-minute promise. Changing text size also changes line wrapping, so check the pace again afterward.
Use the speech time calculator to estimate a draft's length, then time a spoken rehearsal including pauses. For names and numbers, leave a short paragraph break so you have room to say them clearly.
Expand reader
Expand the reader to focus on your delivery. Start, pause, reset, speed and text-size controls stay visible. Choose Back to editing or press Esc to return to your script. On a phone, Start opens this reading view automatically.
Prepare a recording on your phone
This page is a scrolling reader for rehearsal; it does not record a camera or microphone track. When you are ready to film, choose your recording setup and use the script import guide and reader controls guide for the app.
