How to delete your Teleprompter Automatic account

This page explains how to request deletion of your Teleprompter Automatic account. Use it when you want to remove your account and related server-side cloud data from Teleprompter Automatic.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open Teleprompter Automatic.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Open the account or personal cabinet area.
  4. Choose Delete account.
  5. Confirm the deletion request.

If you cannot reach the account area because of a sign-in or device issue, contact support with the email address used for the account.

Delete your account on the web

  1. Open dashboard.teleprompter.pw.
  2. Sign in with the same account.
  3. Open account settings.
  4. Choose Delete Account and confirm the request.

What account deletion removes

Account deletion is intended to remove account profile data, authentication identifiers, active sessions, cloud library metadata, uploaded cloud recordings, video sync settings, and related server-side account data associated with your Teleprompter Automatic account. The deletion process also queues referenced cloud video objects for removal from storage.

If you later create a new account with the same email address or sign-in method, the new account should start with a new server-side cloud library. It should not show the previous account's cloud video list or uploaded cloud recordings.

Data that may be retained

Some records may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, payment reconciliation, support history, abuse prevention, notification audit, or backup integrity. Retained records are limited to the purpose that requires retention and are not used to restore deleted cloud videos into a new account.

Before you delete the account

Inactive free-account cloud cleanup

Account deletion is different from inactive free-account cloud cleanup. If a non-premium account is inactive for 12 consecutive months without qualifying product activity, Teleprompter Automatic may remove cloud-stored media after a service notice and grace period when a deliverable account email is available. Signing in, restoring or renewing a purchase, downloading needed content, or contacting support before the deadline can help prevent or resolve a pending cleanup review.
