Push notifications are optional alerts for service events you choose, such as export results, account safety, billing notices, and recording reminders. Teleprompter Automatic registers push only after system permission is granted and respects notification preferences.
Allow notifications in the app
Open Settings, then Notifications. Turn on notifications or choose the categories you want. When the system permission prompt appears, allow alerts, sound, or badges according to your preference.
- Recording reminders need notifications to be allowed.
- Account or billing notices may also depend on account state.
- Marketing-style push is separate from required service notices.
Fix blocked notifications
If the app says notifications are blocked, open the device notification settings for Teleprompter Automatic and enable them there. On Android, also check notification channels. On iOS, check Focus, Scheduled Summary, and notification style.
Keep preferences intentional
Leave on the categories you actually want. If you turn notifications off completely, scheduled recording reminders and some export/account alerts may not appear on the device.
