Make room between phrases
Use meaningful pauses to avoid rushing several ideas together.
Follow the steps
Read the three short sentences below silently. Each sentence gives you a possible place to pause.
Say the first sentence, pause, and take a comfortable breath if you need one. Continue with the next sentence when ready.
Repeat the message once. Do not force a breath at every punctuation mark or try to finish the whole message in one breath.
Try your own two-sentence update. Leave a pause between the ideas and notice whether the ending stays comfortable.
Try it in speech
Here is the plan. We will try one version today. Tomorrow we will compare the results.
Mark a possible pause in your actual script. Change it if it interrupts the meaning.
