Position the screen for comfortable reading
Adjust a reading screen so you do not have to crane towards it.
Follow the steps
Sit comfortably and place the phone or screen on a stable support. Never balance it where it could fall.
Raise or lower the screen to a comfortable viewing height. Adjust text size or distance until you can read without craning towards it.
Say the sample sentence while looking at the screen. Glance away and back. Check whether your neck and shoulders can stay at ease.
Change one setting or position, then try again. If reading still feels awkward, use a few brief written cues and explain the idea in your own words.
Try it in speech
There are two things I want you to remember.
Use the same check when opening a script in the teleprompter. Adjust the device and text to your comfortable position.
Check your experience
These are your observations, not a technique score. No camera or microphone is used.
