Find a supported standing position
Check whether standing leaves you free to breathe, move and speak.
Follow the steps
Use a stable surface. Stand with your feet comfortably apart, or choose the seated exercise if standing is unsuitable.
Use the front and side drawings as references. Keep your knees relaxed, let your shoulders settle and look comfortably ahead. Do not pull yourself into the drawing’s shape.
Make a small comfortable gesture as you say the sample sentence. Notice whether you are bracing your knees, lifting your shoulders or pushing your chin forwards.
If something feels restrictive, adjust that one thing and say the sentence again. If you already feel comfortable, keep your setup. You can move while speaking; you do not have to hold a pose.
Try it in speech
I’d like to show you one useful example.
Before recording while standing, check your support and say the first sentence. Reposition the camera if you have to reach towards it.
Check your experience
These are your observations, not a technique score. No camera or microphone is used.
