Teleprompter Automatic has two different storage ideas: scripts and folders can sync across devices, while video recordings may be local first and uploaded to cloud only when you choose or when an enabled premium workflow supports automatic upload.
Scripts and folders
The web dashboard exposes cloud synchronization settings for scripts and folders. Sign in before managing sync, then keep the same account on mobile and Web so your library stays associated with the right user.

If mobile sync is not visible on a device yet, follow the in-app status text and update the app when the matching release is available.
Local recordings
Recordings can exist locally on the device or browser where they were created. The web dashboard warns that local browser recordings can be lost if browser data is cleared or if you switch devices. Review a take before deleting or relying on it later.
Cloud video upload
Use Upload to cloud for recordings you want to keep online. The interface includes statuses such as local, uploading, synced, and failed. If upload fails, check your connection first, then check whether your current plan has enough storage available.
Storage limits
Current product UI copy references premium cloud storage and a free 1 GB limit after downgrade. Avoid keeping every test take in cloud storage: upload the useful files and delete drafts you no longer need.
What to do when sync looks wrong
- Confirm that all devices use the same account.
- Use Sync now where available.
- Check whether the item is local only or already synced.
- If video upload fails, retry on a stable connection.
- If storage is full, remove old cloud recordings or renew a plan that includes more storage.
For the recording workflow, see record and export videos. For account session cleanup, use too many active devices.
